Jack is my best friend. He is in a new school.He likes it very much. It's not far from his home. And it usually takes him 10minutes to get to school by bike. School begins at 8: 00 every morning. Butthese days Jack is often late for school. This morning, he is late again. Theteacher is very angry.

   "How do you usually come to school?" asks the teacher. "By bike." Jack answers. "What time do you usually get up?""At 6: 30." "Well, it's not late. What time do you usually leavehome?" Once there were two little ducks, Quick and Quack. They didn't feel lonely, because they were good brothers and they often ate and played together.

One day, they hung out everywhere happily as usual. Soon they came to a big river. To show who swam faster, they decided to have a race. The two ducks swam quickly down to the river. Both of them knew the way very well. But Quack wanted to try a much quicker way. He knew that currents (水流) in the middle of the river were faster and they would help him.

However, their parents had told them never to swim in the middle of a river. Quack thought about it for a moment, but he finally decided to try it. "I'm old enough now to swim there," he thought.

It didn't take Quack much time to be the faster one. Suddenly, Quack was caught by a big whirlpool (漩涡). He wasn't strong enough to get away from it. Luckily, a cow passed by and saved him.

After that, Quack realized he should have followed his parents' advice.

 My name is Nora. I live with my parents and my sister. My sister is 6 and I am 13. My mom's name is Helen and my dad's name is Nick. We have a small milk farm. I have a pet(宠物) horse and a pet cat. Their names are Spirit and Firulais.

I get up at 6:00 a. m. and have breakfast at 6:30 a. m. After that, I go to school. I am at school from 7:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. In the afternoon, I play ping- pong and do my homework(家庭作业) with my friends. After dinner, I go for a walk in the park with my mother. I don't watch TV. I go to bed at 10:00 p. m.

 On weekends(周末), my family goes out to play. I don't like going out, but it is great to go out and play with my family because it helps us understand each other(互相理解). This is me!

"Junior high school is the wonderful time for students to find out their interests, to have many different experiences (经历) and do something for their future jobs, "a junior high school teacher said. "Our world will become a better place if we make our horizons wide and try new things. Our students can't wait until (直到) high school or university (大学) to begin building their dreams. Now it is the right time to get a life. "

"This website is exactly (准确地) what these children need for a better future. If our children can make better plans for their future, it is more possible for them to succeed, " Combs said.
