Now in some places of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (we) country, many people are cutting down the trees in the forests. They need more wood  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (build) houses and more farmland to grow crops and so on. The areas of forests are getting smaller and smaller. Some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (scientist) say that there {#blank#}4{#/blank#} no big forests in 20 or 30 years. It is really a terrible thing.  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the forests, we will have sandstorms(沙尘暴)often. The weather will get hot and dry. The earth {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (become) a big desert. A lot of plants {#blank#}7{#/blank#} animals will die. Crops will not grow  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (everywhere). Life will be different {#blank#}9{#/blank#} everyone.

    So we should do our best {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (protect) our living environment and keep our mountains green, the water clean, and the sky blue.
