Jane didn't have friends at school, but that was not a problem to her. She liked to do things all by {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(她自己), such as reading a book in the library or playing computer games at home. She never felt {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(孤独的;寂寞的).

One day, Jane's teacher, Ms Murphy, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(鼓励) Jane to make more friends at school. But Jane didn't agree with her and asked, "Why? I don't think I need to have a friend." Ms Murphy {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(解释;说明) the importance of friendship to Jane. "Friends are people who care about you," she said. "They are always willing to give you a hand when you are in 

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(问题;烦恼). Reading can make you happy. The Internet can give you any information you need. But only friends can make you feel {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(温暖的). They should be the most important wealth in your life."

Jane told Ms Murphy that she was not good at making friends with other people. She did not know {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(是否) others would like her or not. Ms Murphy gave her many good {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(建议). In the end she said, "Be kind, Jane. I think soon you will have your own {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(圈子) of friends." Thinking twice, Jane {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(点头) with a smile on her face. Ms Murphy was such a good teacher. She was the first person that Jane wanted to make friends with!

Next week our class is going to a rainforest to have a special biology class. We went online and searched for something about the 1  of plants. We are sharing the information with each other now. 

Jack " Plants 2  have great powers. One of their greatest powers is that they can 3  oxygen. They not only give us the oxygen we 4 , but also help to keep the balance of gases(气体平衡) on earth. "

Plants really 15  us a lot. By understanding the powers of plants, we can know how important plants are better. Then we will try to protect them for future uses. 

I often wonder about my future as I'm going to finish secondary school. The number one question on my mind is what job I should choose. I want a job that will satisfy (使满意) me and bring me happiness. I believe that a job should be like a hobby. I will love my work. 

First of all, before I finish secondary school, I will take the first important exam of my life the final graduation (毕业) exam. I will have an English test, a math test, and a biology (生物) test. After my graduation, I will study at the medical university. 

But now, I'm trying my best to finish my studies. Also, before I have a family, I would like to travel around the world. I want to go to some countries like China, Finland and travel through Africa. After I finish my education and travels. I plan to get married (结婚) and have a family. I would like to live with my future family in the quiet, natural countryside. 

Today is Monday and it's 5:30 p. m. now. Alice and her brother Bob get home {#blank#}1{#/blank#}shool. "How is your school day, my children?" Mom asks. 

"It's interesting. Mom, " Alice says first. "In the morning, I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} history and geography. They are my favorite {#blank#}3{#/blank#} . In the afternoon, I'm not busy because I only have P E. We {#blank#}4{#/blank#} rennis today. It's{#blank#}5{#/blank#} for me because I can't play tennis. But my classmate Meimei {#blank#}6{#/blank#} me with it, " Alice says. 

"You really have a good day! So how about your school day Bob?" Mom asks. 

"Very good, " Bob says. "Mrs Brown asks {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to stand in the front of the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} this morning and I feel like I'm a teacher. "

"{#blank#}9{#/blank#} Joes she ask you to do that?" Mom asks. 

"Because I am sleepy (瞌睡的) {#blank#}10{#/blank#} class. Oh, she asks me for your phone number and she says she needs to call you this evening, " Bob says. 

One day, I went to the store to pick up the next week's food. I had something important to do so I had little time and Ihad to put off shopping for Christmas presents until later in the month. 

When we arrived there, I gave my son a dollar and asked him to give it to a poor man at the door of the store. We  went  in  and  soon  filled  our  cart(购物车)  with  food. Then we walked towards the self-checkout machines(自主结账收款机). I hated using them. I preferred to chat with the friendly cashiers(收银员), but there were too many people waiting there. As I stopped and waited, though, I heard  a  man  at  the  machine  next  to  mine  saying  something  angrily. Every time he put his old, wrinkled(起皱褶的) twenty-dollar bill into the machine, it spit out  （吐出）the bill. I quickly took a newer twenty-dollar bill out of my wallet and gave it to him. He thanked me with a warm smile and paid for his goods. I told him to keep his money but he insisted(坚持) that I should take his old, wrinkled twenty-dollar bill. I agreed, put it in my coat pocket, and wished him a Merry Christmas. 

After checking out, I remembered the saying, "Help one person at a time, and always start with the person nearest you. " I reached into my pocket, smiled, and went outside. Then I gave that wrinkled twenty-dollar bill to another poor person and walked to my car happily. 

In my opinion, we should change the world with our love. It is easier than it looks, too. Just start with the person nearest you.
