What is the spirit of Christmas? If you don't know, maybe the story in A Christmas Carol will tell you this. The story is about an old man Scrooge who is very mean and doesn't others nicely. However, one Christmas Eve, the ghost of his dead partner, who was because he to be just like Scoorge, come to him to change his ways if he doesn't want to end like him. He also tells him to three ghosts to visit him. That night, the three ghosts take him to the past, and the future. All the things that happened make Scrooge so scared. He decides to change his life and does a lot of things to be a better person. He spreads love and joy he goes, which actually the true meaning of Christmas: the importance of sharing and giving love and joy to people around us.

Mr. Shute lives in a village. He has got a big family and a strong dog. His farm is small{#blank#}1{#/blank#} he is often free in winter. So he goes to a city and finds work there.
