When you receive an invitation from an American friend, you should know something about table {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

Don't circle your plate {#blank#}2{#/blank#} your arms.If you do so, people will look at you. They will think you don't like the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} on the table.

    Don't put the plate back when you finish your {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Leave it where it was.

    Use the knife and fork correctly. We usually put the knife our right hand,and the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} in our left hand. After you finish {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the food, just put the knife and fork across the plate.

    Don't {#blank#}7{#/blank#} up everything before eating. Cut only one or two {#blank#}8{#/blank#} of it every time.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#} take a mouthful(满口)of food. Do you want to show how hungry you are? Don't do that. It's impolite.

    Don't stand up to get {#blank#}10{#/blank#} that is far from you on the table.If the thing you want isn't at hand, just ask the nearest person for help,like “Mrs Smith,could you please pass me the dish?”

    About three years ago, I felt very {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.I didn't like my classmates ,my parents or anyone else. My classmates didn't want to talk {#blank#}2{#/blank#} me and my parents were always saying that other kids were better than me .I thought I was the most unlucky person in the world.

    One day I had a big fight with one of my {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I was so angry that I hit him in the face .Just at the moment ,a boy stood up and stopped the fight .He was the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of our class. After that ,he often helped me and we {#blank#}5{#/blank#} good friends . Whenever (无论什么时候) I got angry or sad ,he would help me to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} down .My life begins to change because of the boy ,my best friend .We {#blank#}7{#/blank#} a lot of interesting days together . As time goes by ,I become happier with people and things and get along well with everyone here .And it {#blank#}8{#/blank#} that people around me change , too. My parents don't shout at me any more and my classmates become friendly to me .

    But now I can't often see my best friend {#blank#}9{#/blank#} he is seriously ill and is staying in hospital .How I miss the days when we were together ! I hope he will be {#blank#}10{#/blank#} and come back to school soon.
