Tony went{#blank#}1{#/blank#}  (fish) at sea. But he sat all day long without catching a single fish. On {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (he) way home, he stopped at a store and ordered four tuna (金枪鱼). He told the seller: “Pick four large{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (one) out and throw them at me, will you?”

“Why do you want me to throw them at you?” asked the seller.

“So that I am able to tell my wife that I{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (catch) them,” said Tony.

“OK, but I suggest that you take the salmon (三文鱼).”

“Why?” asked Tony.

“Because your wife came in{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(early) than you today and said that if you come by, I should tell you to take salmon. That's what she'd like for supper tonight,” said the seller.

    It was a hot day. Everybody wanted {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (get) cool, so an ice cream store was popular.

    A little girl {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hold) her money in her hand and went into the store. But the shop {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (assist) told her to read the sign on the door. The girl couldn't go into the store unless she put on shoes. The little girl left {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (slow), and a big man followed her out of the store.

    He watched the girl quietly when she stood in front of the store and read the sign, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}said "No Bare Feet”. She turned and started to walk away with tears {#blank#}6{#/blank#}her eyes. Just then, the big man called her. He took off his shoes {#blank#}7{#/blank#} put them in front of the girl. “If you walk with them, you can get your ice cream.” he said.

    Then he helped the girl put her {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (foot) into the shoes. He said, “I get {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (tire) of walking around, and it'll be good to just sit here and eat {#blank#}10{#/blank#} ice cream.” The little girl was happy. She ran into the store and ordered her ice cream.

    Early rising is helpful in more than one way. First, it {#blank#}1{#/blank#} us to have good health. We all need fresh air. It makes our health better to take morning exercise. But air is never so fresh as early in the morning. Early rising helps us in our studies. In the morning we learn {#blank#}2{#/blank#} and find it easy to learn something {#blank#}3{#/blank#} heart. Early rising makes people able to plan the work for the day. We can not work well without a good plan. Just as, "The plan for a year should be made in spring, the plan for a day should be made in the morning." So the popular {#blank#}4{#/blank#} says, "Early to bed and early to rise makes man {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, wealthy and wise."

    Once there was a very rich man. He had a lot of money, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}he wasn't happy at all. He didn't know the purpose (目标) of his life. So the rich man asked a wise old man for help.

    The old man looked at the rich man，smiled and said, "Did you find that {#blank#}7{#/blank#}the glass of the window and the mirror are made of the something? The only {#blank#}8{#/blank#}is that there is a silver coating(银色涂层) on the mirror. As a result, all you can see is {#blank#}9{#/blank#}in the mirror. It is the same with humans. You will be able to see the others when you take away that silver coating. It covers (遮住) your {#blank#}10{#/blank#}When you can see the others and feel compassion (同情) and love for them, you'll find the purpose of your life and feel happy."
