    Three years ago, three boys came to a school from different places. They were my best friends and I. At that time, we were young and shy of each other. H{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, as time went by, we became closer and closer. We studied hard together, played sports together and hung out with each other. When we failed exams, we e{#blank#}5{#/blank#} each other. We faced challenges together, and solved problems together. We s{#blank#}6{#/blank#} happiness and sadness, and grew up together.

    Now, as best friends, we have to face the future separately (分离). Nothing can c{#blank#}7{#/blank#} the fact. I believe that, a{#blank#}8{#/blank#} we may end up in different high schools, our friendship will last.

    I have one w{#blank#}9{#/blank#} for my friends. I hope they will get good grades in the high school e{#blank#}10{#/blank#} exams.

    When it comes to learning, the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (环境) has a big part to play. This has been shown in a long-term study by professor Mitra from India. He set up computers in a village in India where children could not speak English. They did not know what a computer looked like or what the Internet was. To everyone's {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (惊讶), children taught {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (他们自己) how to use the machines, in a very short period of time. This suggests that children can learn fast with little help. Professor Mitra thinks this could change schools. He is now working on so-called SOLES. He said that SOLES includes at {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (最少) a computer and a bench big {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (足够的) for four pupils. SOELS have also been tested in some other countries, such as UK and Italy, with encouraging results.
