She also realized that people wouldn't get that disease if they had enough mosquito nets." I was{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (real) sad to learn that a child died every half a minute because of malaria," said Katherine. "I wanted to send mosquito nets right away, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} that's what I did.”

    Five-year-old Katherine made presentations at churches and schools. She told students and others how important mosquito nets were for Africans. After people heard the presentations, many of them donated money. Katherine sent the money to NBN. NBN is {#blank#}7{#/blank#} organization that sends mosquito nets to Africa Katherine{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (help) to raise $ 200,000 for NBN." It makes me {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (pride) to help African children. I won't stop {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (work) until everyone in Africa has a mosquito net," said Katherine.

    I still remember the first time I left home for several {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (night). I was going to a summer camp for a month. When my parents told me about the camp, I was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (excite), because there were lots of activities there.

    The whole family drove me to the camp. When we arrived, I saw a lot of kids, but I didn't know {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (someone). I began to feel nervous. They gave me a little card {#blank#}4{#/blank#} my name on it. Then, who looked {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (old) than me, came up to me and said "Hi, Margie! I'm Sara. Our cabin is the Pines."
