Life in the village

At the age of {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, I started school.

There was only one teacher with about thirty children from six to eleven.

We sat on {#blank#}2{#/blank#} wooden benches in the same room.

In the evenings I used to {#blank#}3{#/blank#} and then sit with my mother and younger brother in front of the fire, listening to the radio.

Life later on

When I was eleven, I started going to a secondary school in {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

Later I went to university, where I studied {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

There was no doubt that I went back to the village after that.
