    Our school had an English Fun Day today. My classmates and l went to the School Hall to play English games. Some Grade 6 students were helpers and they showed us how to play the games.

    Peter and l were in a spelling(拼写) game. He made many mistakes but I did very well. I got some sweets and we shared(分享) them.

We did not like the matching(配对) game. We had to match some words to pictures. It was not difficult but boring.

    We liked the reading game. I was slow when I read out the sentences. But Peter was very quick. He won the first prize. Miss Wong gave him a photo album. He can put his photos in. We had a good time.

    It is winter holiday. The children go to different places for their holiday. Betty and David are talking about their holiday on the computer.

    I go to Changchun for my holiday. It's cold and windy there. The wind often blows strongly. It often snows heavily. I have a good time with my cousins. We go ice-skating happily. We make snowmen happily.

    How nice! I go to Sydney for my holiday. It's summer there. The wind blows gently. The sun shines brightly (明亮地).My parents and I often go to the beach. We swim happily.

    I am Li Ming. I am twelve years old. There are four people in my family. They are my father, my mother, my little sister and me. We live in a big city. My father is a teacher. He teaches music. He likes watching films. He goes to work by car every day. My mother is a nurse. She works in a hospital. She likes listening to music. She goes to work by bus. My sister and I are students. We study in the same school, but in different grades. We go to school on foot. My sister likes watching TV. I like playing football.

    It's a fine day. Sam and his dog are in the garden. Sam can ride his bicycle. He can fly the kite, too. The kite is yellow and blue. It's big, too. His dog is brown. It can jump and run. They're happy.

    The UK is a small but beautiful country. You can go to the British Museum in London. It is over 250 years old.

    Canada has many beautiful mountains and lakes. It is a good place for hiking and fishing.

    The USA is a big, beautiful country. Many children like going to Disneyland there.

    Australia is a beautiful country. It has many beautiful beaches. You can swim in the sea and eat seafood on the beach.

    The CN Tower in Toronto is very famous. You can go to the top of the tower to see the sunrise.

    Mr. Zhou's office is not far from his home, but he drives to work every day. He likes his car very much, so he often washes his car and he uses a lot of water to wash it. He tells Mrs. Zhou, "I must keep my car very clean." Mrs. Zhou says to Mr. Zhou," You shouldn't wash your car too often. You shouldn't waste too much water." Mrs. Zhou goes shopping every day. She goes to the market on foot. She likes walking. She thinks it's good for her health.
