Waiter: Good morning! May I help you?

Ann: Yes, please. I want a hamburger and some salad(沙拉).

Waiter: Drinks?

Ann: A cup of tea.

Waiter: With ice(冰)?

Ann: Yes, thank you.

Waiter: What do you like, sir?

Tom: Just a big glass(杯)of Coke(可乐)with ice, please.

Waiter: Do you want to eat any food?

Tom: No, I don't want to eat anything.

Waiter: How about you?

Amy: I want some rice and fish, and a glass of milk.

    Tom is seven years old. He goes to school every day. The school is far from his home. So he goes there by taxi and comes back home on time (准时). But today he is late. His mother asks him, “Why are you late today?” “I am in the headmaster's (校长)office. ” “Why do you go to the headmaster's office?” “Because my teacher asks us a question in class, and nobody (没人) can answer it, but I can. ” “It's good to answer the teacher's questions.”“But the question is 'Who puts glue on my chair?'"

    I enjoy reading different kinds of books, but "Harry Potter" is my favourite one. The story is very long but I am interested in it. Harry was such a brave（勇敢） and clever boy that he dared to fight against powerful enemies. His Z-shaped scar and magic stick（魔杖）brought me into a magical（神奇的）world. In fact, the fiction（科幻）story is so meaningful（有意义）that I can learn a lot from it. I think it's the best book I've ever read.

    Most kids like animals. Some girls like cats, and some boys like dogs. However, my favourite animal is the horse.

    Horses are strong. They look wild and run very fast. They are very friendly after they get to know you. Horses remember the way home. They are also helpful to people. They even understand what you are trying to tell them. I heard many stories about how a horse saved his master's(主人的) life. That's also the reason why I love horses.
