April 22^nd is Earth Day, a special day to learn about our earth and how to take care of it. People all over the world take time out to{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(保护）the earth.

    On that day, some people listen to speeches about environment.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (其余的）help clean up their offices or save {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(水）and electricity at home. Your parents may even{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(决定）to take a day off from driving the cars.

    The idea for Earth Day came from a US officer, who was {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(担心）about pollution and the health of {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(植物）and animals. And it{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(迅速地）spread（推广）. In 1970, the first Earth Day was celebrated. More than 20 {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  (百万）people in cities all over the U.S. took part in it{#blank#}9{#/blank#}( 自从 ) then, Earth Day has been used to educated people about the role in taking care of our planet.

    Hi, everyone! My {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(名字)is Zhao Tao. This is my school. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (它)is a big and beautiful school. There is a big playground. There {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (有)a lot of students on the playground now. The sports hall is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (在……上面)the right of the playground. In front of the sports hall, there are science {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (实验室). Behind the sports hall, there is a library. So we can see the sports hall is {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (在……之间)the science labs and the library. In the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (图书馆),  there are many books. Look! This is our classroom building, and there are 48 classrooms in it. In my class, there are 54 students. 34 of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (他们)are boys, and the rest are girls. On the right of the classroom building, there is a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (吃饭)hall, and we often have lunch there. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (老师的)offices are in front of our classroom budding.
