Jim Green is a middle school student in New York City. This weekend he plans to study for an exam. But he doesn't want to study. He just wants to have fun. On Saturday afternoon, he goes to see a movie. On Sunday, his friend calls him, and they have a party at his friend Daming's home. Jim really enjoys himself.

    At last, on Sunday night, Jim studies for the exam. He studies from six in the evening to two in the morning. On Monday morning, Jim goes to school and takes the exam. He is very tired and now he is sad. Because he didn't study during the weekend.

    During holidays，Kitty usually goes to see the exhibits in many museums，such as the history museum，the art museum，the museum of science and technology and the museum of natural history．There are thousands of wonderful things in museum.There are paintings，sculptures(雕塑)，costumes(服饰)，swords(剑)，ancient animal bones and plants，stuffed animals(动物标本)and many others．It is always a good review of history to visit those museums．It is also a great way to learn more things by myself．

At the Barber's

    Len was thirty years old, and he had very long hair. He lived in a big city. Because of his long hair, he did not find any work. One day he met an old friend, and this man said to him, "People in this city don't like long hair. Why don't you go to a barber? He can cut a lot of it off, and then you can get some work" At the barber's Len said to the barber, "Please cut most of my hair off."

    Hello , I'm Kitty. In August I visited my grandparents. I also went to the beach with my family. We played ball games there and went swimming in the sea.Alice went to Beijing and visited her uncle. She went to the Great Wall , Tian'anmen Square and the Palace Museum. She also went to some famous parks in Beijing. And she took a lot of photos. The summer holiday was wonderful.

He is getting the kite from the tree. But he can't get down. Jim is helping Li Lei. Li Lei is jumping to the wall. They are getting down from the wall. Kate, Jim and Li Lei are mending(修理) the kite under the tree. They are good friends.

    Spring Festival is an important festival in China. At Spring Festival, people buy some flowers and put them in their houses. The children get red packets(红包) from their grandparents. They burn firecrackers(爆竹). And they have a big family dinner. They eat dumplings. They can see dragon dances(舞龙) and lion dances(舞狮). It's very interesting.
