    Staring(盯) at smartphones for long time gives you dry eyes and even causes a disease c{#blank#}3{#/blank#} glaucoma(青光眼).

While you're probably not going to stop using your smartphone, there are a few things you can do to protect your eyes. Hold your phone at least 30 cm away from your eyes when using it. Take a break every h{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  and try the following: look at something at least five meters away from you and then focus on the tip of your nose. Repeat this s{#blank#}5{#/blank#} times. It should reduce(减少) the discomfort in your eyes.

    A few months ago, a strange thing {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (发生) in my life. I heard a strange {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (噪音) outside the window every night. I was scared and didn't know what to do. I thought there might be a {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (小偷) standing outside the window. I asked my parents to see what it was. But they didn't find {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (任何东西).     That lasted for a few days. I couldn't sleep {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (好). Sometimes I even couldn't fall {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (睡着的). One day, I {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (买) a flashlight(手电筒) in a market, At  midnight, as soon as I heard the strange sound, I jumped out of my bed with the flashlight. I saw a black cat jumping up and down {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (在……附近) the window. He might want to make friends with my pet cat, but he couldn't get into my house.
