Sitting at a desk in a classroom all day can be pretty boring. With a bike, the reading class can be {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（interesting） than before.

    The teachers in {#blank#}2{#/blank#}school in the US have tried this. The Read and Ride program {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（begin） five years ago. As part of the Read and Ride program, the teachers change the students'{#blank#}4{#/blank#}（desk） into exercise bikes. With this program, one classroom in the school has enough bikes for each student in class.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}is possible for the students to ride bikes and read books at the same time. Even common classrooms have one bike at the back of them. The students who cannot sit still can use the bike {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（do） exercise.

    The exercise bikes are not only good for the students' health {#blank#}7{#/blank#}helpful in improving the efficiency（效率） of the students' study.{#blank#}8{#/blank#}students are bored with study, they can relax themselves by riding the bikes for a while.

    After keeping trying the program for one year, teachers found that students who took part {#blank#}9{#/blank#}the program did much better in reading tests.{#blank#}10{#/blank#}amazing it is!

    Daniel Kristiansea is a 14-year-old schoolboy from Denmark. Recently, while doing his history homework about World War Ⅱ, he had a surprising discovery {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（在……后面）his family's home. He found the remains of a World War Ⅱplane and a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（飞行员）.

    After telling his father about his history homework, Daniel was encouraged to go out onto their farm with a special machine to find {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（金属）. They reported what they found to the government, and soon the news was {#blank#}8{#/blank#} （广泛地）heard across Danmark. Each day their house was {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（拥挤的）with news reporters.

    Daniel's father, Klaus, remembered being told by his grandpa that a plane from {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（德国）had hit their farm during World War Ⅱ. But Klaus thought it was just a good story. Now it turns out to be true.
