Recently, a foreign student in China gave a very touching answer to the question: What should China be proud of? It was{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(wide) spread online.

      Emma is from Canada. She came to China four years ago. Now she is{#blank#}2{#/blank#}university student in Ningbo. The following is China in her eyes.

    Didga is a lovely cat from Australia. She is very popular in her neighborhood because she is good at skateboarding(滑板运动). Didga really enjoys {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(ride) on the skateboard.  Look! She {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(play)on the skateboard now.

    Didga is Robert Dollwet's pet. Robert was a dog trainer in the past. Seven {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(year) ago. Robert moved from America {#blank#}4{#/blank#}Australia. One day Robert and Didga were outside. A boy left his skateboard near {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (they) and he went into a shop. Didga jumped on the skateboard {#blank#}6{#/blank#} played it for a long time. "It must {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (be)exciting to train(训练)a cat to skateboard, "Robert {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (think). Then, he bought a small skateboard {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Didga and tried training her.

    {#blank#}10{#/blank#}was not easy to teach a cat to skateboard. Robert spent a lot of time helping Didga. And now she can play it very well.

    Have you ever read the book A brief History of Times? It {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(write) by Stephen Hawking in 2013.

    Stephen Hawking was born on January 8th, 1942, exactly 300 years after the death of Galileo in Oxford, England. At the age of eleven, Stephen went to Oxford University, his father's old college. After three years, he won a first class honour degree in {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(nature) science.

    In October 1962, Stephen arrived at the University of Cambridge {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(do) research. He {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(real) enjoyed his time there. Unluckily, Stephen had a bad {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(ill) shortly after his 21st birthday in 1963 and was given two years to live. Yet he went on {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(work) hard to become an excellent scientist. Stephen didn't live by {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(he), he fell in love with Jane Wilde and they got {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(marry) in 1965, then they had three {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(child).

    Hawking liked China very much, he had visited China several times. On November 24th, 2017, Hawking {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(reply) Wang Junkai on his Weibo. He said he was pleased to answer the excellent question from Mr. Wang Junkai.

    He once said, "My goal is simple, it is complete understanding of the universe(宇宙)." Stephen Hawking is regarded as one of the most famous scientists since Einstein. Hawking died on March 14th, 2018.
