One day，I took my daughter to the park．As soon as we got there，my daughter {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（run） to the swing （秋千）and asked for a push．When I was helping my daughter，I noticed another girl trying to make her own swing {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（go） high by herself．Her old grandmother was sitting on the chair nearby and smiling at us．Gradually，my daughter {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（push） higher and higher by me．

    One day two years later，after a day's work，I went to pick up my daughter before going home．

    While I {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（wait） outside the school gate，a little girl smiled sweetly at me and gave me a big hug．As I watched her {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（run） away，I realized that she was the girl whom I gave a big push in the park．

    So far，I {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（not forget） her sweet smile and the warm hug that she gave me．

    In fact，if we give love to others，love {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（find） its way back to us．It may travel from heart to heart or it may blossom （开花）in the heart．The love we share，the kindness we {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（give），and the happiness we create will come back to us with a pleasant surprise．

    Xi'an celebrated the first-ever China Hanfu Day {#blank#}1{#/blank#} April 18. There were catwalk shows (走秀) and traditional music concerts which {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hold) by people wearing traditional Chinese clothing. Hanfu fans from all over China gathered there to take {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (photo) and put them online for a Hanfu photo competition, which lasted until May 18.

    China Hanfu Day is on the third day of the third {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of the Chinese lunar calendar (农历), which is said to be the birthday of the Yellow Emperor. In ancient China, this day was also known {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Shangsi Festival (上巳节). Its purpose is to encourage young Chinese {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (take) pride in traditional clothing, as well as Chinese culture.

    Hanfu is the traditional clothing of the Han people who lived in China before the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of about 3,000 years and it {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (change) greatly so far. However, some of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (it) main characteristics (特点) remain. For example, there are two parts that overlap (交叠) on the front, which is called "jiao ling". Another main characteristic of Hanfu is that it usually uses ribbons (系带) instead of buttons.

    China is becoming a leading country in the world, and the Chinese public feels more confident (自信的) about its traditional culture {#blank#}9{#/blank#} ever before. Wearing traditional clothing might be an interesting way of showing {#blank#}10{#/blank#} they feel about this.

    I have two friends in our class, Rick and Scott. Rick has a good lifestyle. He sleeps eight or nine {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (hour)a day. So he can get up early in the morning. He exercises every day before having breakfast. He runs three times every week and plays soccer{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(one) a week. He also has good eating habits.     Scott is different {#blank#}8{#/blank#} Rick. He is kind of {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(health). He doesn't like doing exercise and sleeps too late. He likes eating junk food, too. He is fat now, and he{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(ask)to lose weight by his doctor.

    The Brown family lived in a very small house. One day they decided to buy two new beds for it. Mr and Mrs Brown went to a s{#blank#}1{#/blank#} and paid for two new beds. The shop made a mistake and sent four beds. The Browns were u{#blank#}2{#/blank#} because they didn't have enough room for so many beds.

    Mrs Brown called the shop about the problem. The truck f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the shop came, but it didn't take back the extra(额外的) beds. It brought two more, and then there were six beds. Mrs Brown called the shop again. The truck c{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, but it did not take away the four extra beds. It brought four more beds and then there were t{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    There were beds everywhere. Mr and Mrs Brown were much worried. They didn't know what to do with so many beds. They were afraid to call the shop again, b{#blank#}6{#/blank#} they had to ask the shop to take back those extra beds.
