Indians always shake their heads when they talk to others. It does not have the same meaning as our “ {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   “. If someone wants to visit  India, he should know this or it will give him some   {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  .

 One day, a foreign officer went to India on business. He hired （雇用）a car and an Indian driver. When he told his driver to take him to his office, the driver shook his head at once. The officer {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  his order and the driver shook his head again. At last, the officer, of course, got  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} 。

“How dare（敢）you refuse my order?” he  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}   , “Drive me to the office at once!”

 The driver answered in a very loud voice too. “Yes, sir.” But to the officer's surprise, the driver shook his head at the same time.

 The car started and the officer was now so surprised that he {#blank#}6{#/blank#}   say a word. He thought about it for a while and nodded with a smile, " 'No' means 'Yes' here!”

A Frenchman went to a small Italian town and was staying with his wife at the best hotel there. One night, he went out for a walk alone. It was late. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . The man was nearly out of sight when the Frenchman suddenly found that his watch was gone. 　　Soon the Frenchman caught up with the Italian. Neither of them understood the other's language. The Frenchman shook his fist(拳头) in the Italian's face and pointed at the watch.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} . In the end he gave up his watch to the Frenchman.
When he returned to the hotel, the Frenchman told his wife what had happened. He was greatly surprised when his wife pointed to the watch on the table. Now he realized that by mistake he had robbed(抢劫) the Italian. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} .

    Carols and Ming are good friends.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} of them study in Class Four， Grade One of NO. 3 Middle School. Ming is good at {#blank#}2{#/blank#} but Carols is a little weak.

    One day they had an English test. Ming got a full mark， {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Carols did not pass it. Ming was so happy {#blank#}4{#/blank#} he began to play all day.

    I have a lot of problems these days. Firstly， I am not happy in class.
