It was Sunday afternoon. My brother and I were alone at home. My parents went for a party and asked me to look after my brother. I was doing my homework while my younger brother was watching TV. Suddenly the doorbell rang. Ding-Dong! My brother thought that it was our parents, so he opened the 1quickly.
A tall man wearing a black raincoat stood outside. He said that he came to sell books and asked politely 2our parents were at home.
Without thinking, my brother said, "No." Then the man asked if we would like to3some story books. I refused him. When I wanted to close the door, he suddenly pushed the door very 4 and came into our house. He took out a 5 and ordered me to tie up my brother's hands with a rope. I tied up his hands in a special way so my brother could untie
6easily. The man then tied my hands up and locked 7 of us in the kitchen. Soon, he went upstairs to 8money. I taught my brother to untie the rope on his 9.He then untied me. On July, 27th, 2018, the comedy Hello, Mr Billionaire (《西虹市首富》) came out. Many people went to the cinema to watch Shen Teng, who played the 1 of the main character, Wang Duoyu. He acted so well that people just couldn't stop laughing 2 the movie.

The movie 3 the story of a man named Wang Duoyu, who is poor and nameless. Then he will become very 4 overnight (一夜之间) because his grandfather 5 to give him 30 billion yuan. 6, he has to use up one billion yuan within a month first, or he will get 7. Some people think Wang Duoyu's story is too 10 to be true. They say there is no such thing as a free lunch. In my opinion, if you don't take the movie too 11, it is fun to watch. Besides, I learn from it that money is not everything. In other words, there is always something more important than money, such as 12. A long time ago, there were two special boys, John and Joey. They showed great talents from an early age, and they did better than others around. 

They grew up but they chose different ways. John used all of his talents to find a good job. He joined in many activities and visited the most important people and places. Everyone thought that he would be the most important person in the world. 

But the second young man, Joey, was different. He always took a heavy responsibility (责任). He thought he should help others. He was always busy looking for ways to help others. 

One day, bad things happened and they met many problems. John didn't know what to do. But Joey always tried his best to solve all kinds of problems. He thought of some good ways and didn't let the bad things affect (影响) the people in his town. From then on, he was more famous than John. 

John then knew that our best talents were not only for ourselves. He learned from Joey that we should always help other people.

Jenny was a student in my class. She lived in a happy family. She had three sisters and she was the youngest, She seemed to be glued(粘合) to her mother's skirts. Her three older sisters took the bus to school every morning, but she was always driven to school by her mother. 

One Friday, Jenny's mother said to me, "My husband and I have to be away to Europe on business for two weeks. I am very worried about Jenny. She is so young and weak. Will you please help me look after her while we're away?"

As a mother of a kid, I knew how worried a mother would be if she was away from her child. "Don't worry! I'll try my best to take good care of her, "I said. I even volunteered to say that I would wait for Jenny at the school gate every morning to give her a familiar(熟悉的) face. 

I waited at the school gate to meet Jenny the next Monday morning. When the bus arrived, Jenny and her three sisters got off. I was surprised to see a happy girl, not a sad, crying girl. I called Jenny over to ask her how the bus ride was going. "Very interesting!" she said. "I always wanted to take a bus with my sisters, but Mum was always together with me. You see there isn't any baby in our family now. I can take a bus without Mum. I'm no longer a kid. "
