Teenagers can make money to buy things for themselves if they have one or two part-time jobs, which is good for them, of course. However, there're {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(many) teenagers volunteering than having part-time jobs now. A recent survey {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(show) that 56% of teenagers volunteer to help charities, while only 39% {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(take) part-time jobs to make money. Parents also say that 82% of teenagers do something to help others in their lives.

    Sara Johnson,  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} teacher at a high school in Chicago, realizes that teenagers are more {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (interest) in joining in charities. She said, “I think that kids are realizing how {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (importance) it is.” She believes that the teenagers in the younger generation do more in charities than her generation {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(do).Unlike other public high schools, Illiana Christian High School doesn't often {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(ask) its students to do public services, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} most of its students still volunteer. Suzanne Hammer, a junior, said, “I don't understand why you don't take part in voluntary{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (activity) if you can. I think everybody should try to help others.
