      Kate is a new student. She is twelve. She is from America. She can speak English very well and she can speak a little Chinese. She is in Nanjing. Her parents are doctors. Kate is studying in a school near her home. She has some classes from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, she often plays games with her Chinese friends. She loves China and her Chinese friends.

    My summer holiday is coming to the end．During the holiday，we went to Dalian for a visit，I saw the beautiful sea there，it was really amazing．The sea water was as blue as the sky，and it was very clean．Also，the beach in Dalian was very nice，we built a small sand palace．When I was swimming in the sea，as if I was a little fish．I like that feeling very much．I also spent time to study for school．I read many books，practiced math problems，and I finished all of my homework．I was very happy．

    Hi, I am Eddie and he's Danny. Our school is small, but it's nice. There is a garden(花园) in it. There are many flowers in the garden. Some are red. Some are white. We like purple flowers. We often play in the garden. We can smell the flowers. We can water(浇水) the flowers, too. But we can't pick the flowers because(因为) they are for the students and the teachers.

    Venice has many rivers. People don't travel by car or bike. They travel by gondola. In the desert some people travel by camel. Camels can walk a long time in the sun. In very cold places, some people travel by sled(雪橇). The sled is pulled by dogs. It is cold but fun!

    I'm Jason. I'm a strong boy. My favourite day is Tuesday. I have Chinese and PE and I have sandwich for lunch. Sandwich is my favourite food. It's delicious and healthy for me. My favourite teacher is Mr Liu. He is our PE teacher. He is tall and strong. He is twenty-two years old. He is kind, but sometimes he is strict. His class is so much fun. I like him very much. On the weekend, I often play football and clean my room. I'm helpful.
