    The other day, some of my classmates and I took a bicycle trip along the "Huan Shan Green Road", that was specially built for people to relax ourselves. The scenery along the road was fascinating, with trees, flowers, hills and lakes on both side. We stopped by a lake for a rest, where a great many of people are playing happily. But something unpleasant caught our eyes. There was rubbish here or there, and there were many plastic bags and bottles floated on the surface of the lake. Such beautiful place was so serious polluted. What a shame! In the end, we couldn't help collecting the rubbish after we left.

    Last week, I take part in the Cultural Exchange Week. I enjoyed myself in England. I visited the city museum and several place of interest, which made me have better understanding of the English society, culture and history.

    What's more, I was luckily enough to meet my pen friend Tom there. I stayed at his home. And I'll never forget the days when we spent together. When I left England, he offered to me a dictionary for a gift. It's of great help for me to learn English. I will make full use of them and learn English good.

    I hope Tom will come to China when it's convenience for him!

    We have lived in the house for ten years, so the kitchen is the heart of our home. For us, the kitchen is where holds special sounds, smells and memories. We enjoy the sound of my grandmother sings old songs coming from her childhood as she cooks. Every week he prepares a delicious meal for us. We often sit in the kitchen talking while we waited for the food to be ready. It may seem like a special place to someone else, but when I am in low spirit, it warms me like a big blanket in a winter morning.     A Frenchman was once visiting London. He wished to take a walk to see a city. But he was afraid he might get being lost because he knew no words of English. So before he left his hotel, he stopped on the first corner and carefully copied in his notebook the names of the street that he was staying. Then he walked on. At last, he got lost. In several hours he found a policeman. The Frenchman tried his best to explain the policeman that he didn't know the name of his hotel, however he knew the name of the street. He then showed the policeman that he copied in his notebook. It read: "One­way street".
