We all know about this famous Kitty. She has no mouth, and she wasn't born out of a TV show or a video game. So how did this cute character become popular? How did she change the world?

    Hello Kitty was created (创造) in Japan in 1974.Sanrio, a company in Japan, was working for a new character to put on their new purse. The first picture of Hello Kitty was introduced on November 1. She was so cute that it became popular soon in Japan and all over the world.

    Hello Kitty is only a character, but she has a story of her own. Her full name is Kitty White, and she's even not a Japanese. She lives in the countryside outside London with her family—George White, Mary White and her twin sister Mimmy. Hello Kitty wears a red bow  (蝴蝶结) on her left ear while Mimmy wears a yellow bow on her right ear.

    Kitty loves goldfish and baking cookies, but her favourite thing is to eat her mum's apple pie! She also loves stars and candies, too. She is in the 3rd grade and she weighs as much as three apples but is five apples tall. She even had a blood (血.) type, which is A.

    Hello Kitty's appearance hasn't changed much, though she turned 40 on November 1, 2014.

Last summer my parents took me to visit my uncle's family and I was so excited. My uncle lives on a big farm. It's about 100 {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(平方的) kilometres. Their house is at the foot of a large mountain. I always have a good time there.

When we got there, we first went out for a picnic with my uncle's family. We climbed to the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (顶端) of the mountain. The wind was so cool and the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(风景) were so beautiful. My cousin Rob {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(展示)me some interesting huge stones. They all had unusual {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(外形;形状). Some look like animals, and some look like {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(人). I really hoped I could take one home, but they were too big!

In the afternoon, my cousin Rob took me to the forest. We walked along a {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(小路) and found a hole. It was a trap(陷阱) for hunters(猎人) to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(抓住) little animals. We found a rabbit amd saved it. Then we saw some squirrels(松鼠) and played with them for a while. When we got home, we were so hungry and {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(渴的). We had a good dinner together. After dinner we watched TV for a while and then we went to bed.

The next day Rob {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(唤醒) me up early in the morning. We went to see the sunrise. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so beautiful! We enjoyed it very much.

Can you imagine a school with only one student？There is one on the Ferries Island，and Aron is the lucky dog. 

With no roads leading to the land，the only way to arrive at the Ferries Island is by1 . Aron isn't the only child on the 2 and he hasn't always been the only student at the school. There were some other students there，including two of Aron's brothers. As they got 3 ，they went to the secondary school in the nearest town. Since then，Aron has been the only student in the school.

Last year, we took a trip to New York City.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} we arrived at our hotel, it was around I am. My son Joseph looked out at the lights of Times Square and said he{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(want) to go outside.I told him it was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} late to go out, but he kept looking out of the window and said, "Just for two minutes."My wife and I just looked at each other, surprised and said "Two minutes". We got {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (dress) and walked to the center of Times Square. When we got there, my son pointed at {#blank#}5{#/blank#} lights and said "Dad, look!" and then started to fall asleep.

It took us {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(minute) to get ready for the 20 seconds we spent outside, but it made {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(we) son happy and that meant a lot to us. That night, I learned a lesson about this small experience.I used{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (find) an excuse(借口) to do something else,but in fact I could have happy moments in our lives.

Because of my son, I learned that I am {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(big) enemy to my own happiness in my life. Happiness is created{#blank#}10{#/blank#} ourselves. And it is a door that is always open. However, we are the ones who have to decide if we are going to walk through the door.

Reggie had been born deaf. He was well-known to everyone in town, and they all loved him. Unluckily, he always seemed to end up treated 1 from everyone else. People acted like he was unable to 2 them, as if he was a baby.

His friend Michael didn't like this. He decided that things had to be 3 . Michael's father was the town's mayor (市长) and Michael 4 to persuade him that this year they should offer one day as the festival to deaf people. During that whole day everyone would have to wear earplugs (耳塞).

On that day, nobody was thinking of Reggie as just a deaf person. This meant he could be treated just like any other boy, and people saw Reggie had a bright mind. On that day, using his usual 7 , Reggie was the one who could communicate best with everyone. This meant that people paid more attention to what he was expressing, and they were 8 by his intelligence and his ability to find ways to deal with almost any problem. They 9 that he had always been like that, and that in normal life all Reggie needed was a little more time than others to communicate. That was the only 10 .
