Australia is big, but its population is small. The population of it is nearly as large as that of Shanghai. I live in Sydney, Australia. I love this city. It's clean and beautiful. There are four seasons in Sydney. I like summer best because I can go swimming and surfing on the beach. Christmas is also in summer. You know? It's strange. We have a holiday for Christmas．On Christmas Day, my father drives us to the beach. I like to surf in the sea. My sister likes to make sandcastles and my brother likes to play balls with our dog．My parents like to hide the presents in the sand. We have to find our presents. It's really fun.

    Min and Mog get up at seven o'clock in the evening. They have dinner at half past seven. They like eating fish. At eight o'clock, they start to work. They catch a lot of mice. The mice are afraid of them. Min and Mog have breakfast at six o'clock in the morning. They go to bed at half past six in the morning. They are tired.

    Mummy asks a little horse to carry a bag of wheat(小麦) home. On the way home, the little horse meets a small river. He is very worried(担心的)."What should I do?" he thinks. At this time, he meets a squirrel(松鼠).

"Can I cross the river?" the little horse asks.

    "Oh, you can't. The river is very deep. You will drown(淹死)," the squirrel says. The little horse is very afraid. He cries.

New York has a larger population（人口）than Washington DC. In New York, we can see the famous statue，the Statue of Liberty（自由女神像）.
