    Each year, China creates around 300 million tons of rubbish. Less than a  ['kwɔːtə] of the waste is recycled. Most rubbish is buried in landfills or burned without being  (sort). Landfills take up a lot of space in cities. It can also  (pollution)the nearby soil and water.
