    On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great diversity of robot. I was amazing to find those robots could do a great number of things just like real people, included playing chess, playing the piano and drawing pictures. What's more, the robots were in different kinds and shapes, which made us enjoyable. In addition, that excited me most is the show given by a group of robots. They danced just as if they were dancers on the stage. By visiting Robot World, I have learned a lot of about robots, especial about their functions and shapes.     Last Thursday, I was standing near a subway exit, try to call a taxi. But no luck. Then I thought of the taxi-booking app my friend has recommended and I booked a taxi through my cell phone. Soon it came and I got into the taxi, feeling pretty proudly of my high-tech way and satisfied with the convenience brought by the app. So later, I found that the driver was busy looking his cell phone to get the next order. It was just then when I began to worry about my safety. What's bad, the driver's informations might be false. How can we passengers' legal rights be protecting if something bad happens? Therefore, be careful when you use the taxi-booking app the next time.

Dear Sir,

    Having read about your newspaper's decision to start a campaign for protecting the environment, I decide to write you this letter.

    The state of our park is very shocked, with rubbish everywhere. I was used to find a trip to the park very relaxing. Upon the arrival of spring, beautiful birds would sing happy in the park. I enjoyed this very much. Therefore, now I just find it tiring, because I have to pick up rubbish where I am going to sit. The grass is covered on plastic bags and food. I am sad that the young people of today do not clean up after themselves before he leave the park. There are so much interesting animals and insects living in our parks. It would be shame if they were destroyed because of people's activity there.

    Challenges of life are of great importance in our grow. They remind me my days in senior high school which I was in the military training. It was the first time that I have lived away from my home, so I found it difficult to fit in. And the training officer was strict in me. I once thought I couldn't stick to the end. But anyway, I was succeeded. The trials made it much easy for me to adapt to life, but the difficulties I came across have now become a precious memory in my life. In short, learning to regard the challenges of life as the stepping stone to future success and make the best of them.

A FACT OR AN OPINION?

    What is a fact? Is it something that people believe? No. A fact is anything which can be proved. For an example.it can be proved that China has many people than any other country in the world. This is a fact.

    Then what is an opinion? An opinion is what someone believe is true but has not been proved. So an opinion is not good evidence in a trial. For example, it is an opinion if you say "Cats are better pets than dogs". It may be true, but it is difficultly to prove. Some people may not agree this opinion but they also cannot prove that we are right.

    In a trial, a judge must decide which eyewitnesses to believe and which not to believe. The judge does not consider how each eyewitness looks like or where that person lives or works. He /She only cares about whether the eyewitness has given true informations which must be facts rather than opinions. This kind of information is calling evidence
