B：When did you go there?

A：At eight o'clock in the morning．

B：Oh，they went there at two in the afternoon．Sure，you couldn't meet them．

    Next time you're in a public place, take a look around you. And {#blank#}1{#/blank#} how many people are using their phones. I can tell you now that it is probably more than half, whether you're on a bus, in a car 6 {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  simply walking down the street.

    I'm not saying that I am not an example of this, but it. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} mazes (使惊愕) me how people can spend so much time on their phones without {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to others. Has it gone too far?

     Recently, my smart phone broke and had to be  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} off for repair for a week or so. I had to use a really old, basic phone just to keep me in touch with my family and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. All I could do on this phone was to send text messages, make calls and play one game. And I loved it. I loved being {#blank#}7{#/blank#} from the Internet, and I really didn't mind not having updates (更新) about what my friends were doing. It allowed {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to spend more time enjoying my time in London and watching the people {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  me and really see what was going on.

     However, I knew that as soon as I got my smart phone back I would be one of those {#blank#}10{#/blank#} once again. Perhaps I should just go back to using the basic phone and forget I ever got my smart phone back.

A: How can I become a good English {#blank#}1{#/blank#}? Could you give me some advice?

B: Of course. Do you learn English by {#blank#}2{#/blank#} English videos?

A: No, it's too hard to understand {#blank#}3{#/blank#} English.

B: How about keeping a diary in English? Do you learn English that way?

A: Yes. It helps to write English every day.

B: Have you ever studied with a group?

A: Yes, I have. I have learned a lot that way.

B: Do you ever practice conversations with friends?

A: Oh, yes. It {#blank#}4{#/blank#} my spoken English a lot.

B: What about reading {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to practice pronunciation?

A: I do that sometimes. I think it helps.

A: Do you have any plans for this weekend?

B: No, I don't. I just want to have a good rest. I suppose I will just stay at home and listen to music.

A: Oh, what kind of music do you like?

B: I prefer music that is not too {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Smooth music can relax my mind. What about you?

A: I like music that has beautiful {#blank#}2{#/blank#} .A wonderful song is like a poem.

B: That sounds nice.

A: By the way, if you have spare time this weekend, would you like to watch a movie with me?

A: It is a love story and the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} is Feng Xiaogang. It has a sad ending.

B: I like {#blank#}5{#/blank#} I just want to laugh and don't want to think too much.

A: In that case, I will ask someone who likes love movies.
