Mr Smith lived by the sea. He had a big family and he had to work hard, or  his wife and children would be{#blank#}1{#/blank#} . So he had to get up early every day. After breakfast he set out in a small boat. He always hoped to{#blank#}2{#/blank#} . 
     One morning the man got to a good place for fishing.  He threw a long rope with many hooks（钩子）into the water. He found it very{#blank#}3{#/blank#} and pulled the hooks out of the sea. He saw there were some gold chains（链子. He , of course, was very {#blank#}4{#/blank#} . 
    “I'll {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  for a lot of money ,” he thought to himself.“I'll build a new house and buy expensive things. I'll be the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} man in the world!”
    Mr. Smith went on drawing his rope and didn't notice what was happening to his boat. It began to{#blank#}7{#/blank#} . As he was pulling the gold chains, the boat sank into the sea. He lost not only the gold chains ,but also {#blank#}8{#/blank#} !

    Look! That is our school. It is very nice. There are many trees and many flowers in our school garden. Our school is not big. There are fifteen {#blank#}1{#/blank#} （班级） in our school. There are about fifty students in every class. We have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} （四十） teachers and we have one headmaster . The headmaster is Liu Ming.

They said that pets are left-handed or right-handed {#blank#}2{#/blank#} people. As we all know, it is important for animals to be good at getting food. Some like to get food with their right hands, but some like to get food with the left hands. That's {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the animals are left-handed or right-handed.

    The scientists have {#blank#}4{#/blank#} that male cats and dogs are almost left-handed, and female cats and dogs are right-handed, because their work in everyday life is different.

    My name is Xiao Jun. I come from the countryside. Now I'm studying in a big city. People can eat all {#blank#}1{#/blank#} of foods and do lots of things. It's so convenient (便利的). Many people like living in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. But I don't like it very much. In the city, the traffic is heavy and the cost of living is {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. It's noisy, too.

    The {#blank#}1{#/blank#} saw a most wonderful sight. Birds were flying about and singing, and flowers were {#blank#}2{#/blank#} through the green grass. The trees were waving their arms {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in the warm wind. Children were running about and sitting in the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of the trees. It was a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} scene.
