The Great Wall is known as the eighth wonder of the world. Every year thousands of tourists from all over the world come to visit this place of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in China.
Last Saturday I went to theGreat Wall {#blank#}2{#/blank#} some of my friends. It was a sunny day. On our way up, we saw many volunteers(志愿者) keeping working in the sun. They helped the elders with their bags., {#blank#}3{#/blank#} photos for some tourists and answered people's questions. Though they are very{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , they didn't stop to have a rest. We were deeply moved when we saw this.

Just at the moment, we saw {#blank#}5{#/blank#} little boy standing alone and crying. We went over and asked what {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to him. From his answer we knew that he couldn't find his mother. We told him not to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} about it and then we tried to get to touch with his mother with the phone number he gave us. Twenty minutes {#blank#}8{#/blank#} , his mother turned up. When she saw her son, she was very excited and thanked {#blank#}9{#/blank#} with tears in her eyes.

That day we not only enjoyed the beauty of the Great Wall, but also felt the warmth of the society. {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  everyone can reach out a helping hand to others, the world will be more and more harmonious(和谐的).

After breakfast, she can't leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen. After that, she runs to school because there are more {#blank#}4{#/blank#} at school. She can't play basketball after school because she must do her homework. She can play only on weekends. After dinner, she can't {#blank#}9{#/blank#} TV. She has to go to bed at 10:00.     We're staying with Lingling's uncle in Hunan Province, and I'm having {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (冠词) wonderful time here in Zhangjiajie. It's a magic land of mountains, forests and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (river). It's very large, about 480 square kilometres. It's famous  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (介词) the strange shape of its tall rocks. Some of them {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (look) like humans while others look like wild animals. Last night we camped by a small lake. During the night, we{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (hear) a noise! It woke everybody up. We thought somebody  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (be) moving about. Lingling's uncle said it was an animal. We came out without  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (make) any noise, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (连词) found it was just a hungry monkey looking for food. This morning, we climbed Mount Tianzi! From the top we hoped to see the lakes and forests. But it was a pity that it was{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (cloud). We could only see the mountain tops above the clouds. Tomorrow we're going to Dongting Lake, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (冠词) second-largest freshwater lake in China. We'll be back home next week! Wish you were here.
