My First day at college

    I remember my first day at college. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} at 8:30 and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} lessons at 9:00. We {#blank#}3{#/blank#} from 9:00 to 11:00. The teachers {#blank#}4{#/blank#}to us a lot! Then we{#blank#}5{#/blank#}basketball for an hour. At noon we {#blank#}6{#/blank#} lunch at the canteen (食堂). In the afternoon we continued (继续) the lessons and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to the teacher carefully. Then at 4:30 the lessons {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. It was a long and tiring day!

    "Goodbye, Lightning," Molly said to her horse. "I'll see you in a few weeks." Outside, her father called; "Molly, we' ll be {#blank#}1{#/blank#}!"

    Molly ran into the car. She sat in the back seat (后座){#blank#}2{#/blank#} her brother. Her mother and father sat in front. "Just think, tomorrow we'll be in New York City!" her mom said. Molly worried about the trip. She was{#blank#}3{#/blank#} that she wouldn't like being in a big city.

    She looked out the car as her father {#blank#}4{#/blank#}to the airport (机场). She saw large green corn fields (玉米地). And the tall green flees grew best in the summer sun. It took them forty{#blank#}5{#/blank#} to get to the airport. The airport was busy The 10-hour flight (飞行) was not very {#blank#}6{#/blank#}for Molly. She didn't like looking out the plane. She read a book on the plane,{#blank#}7{#/blank#}the book was a little boring.

    When the plane {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the family climbed in a taxi. The {#blank#}9{#/blank#} was full of cars. Molly couldn't see green anywhere. "This is a lot different than back home," Molly said. "Yes. Do you {#blank#}10{#/blank#} it, Molly?" asked her mother. "Well, I' m not very sure," said Molly, "but I'll try."

    Neil Armstrong is the first man to walk on the moon. He took his {#blank#}1{#/blank#} flight at six and received his pilot's license at 16. In 1949, Neil {#blank#}2{#/blank#}the navy(海军) and served as a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. He was chosen to be {#blank#}4{#/blank#} astronaut in 1962. Four years later, he {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to join two spacecrafts together in space.

    Then the big day came. On 20th July 1969, he landed Apollo on the Moon together {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Aldrin. Neil said the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} words "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" on the Moon. They became heroes {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they returned with many Moon {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Neil was presented the Medal of Freedom, the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} award that a US citizen can receive because of his excellent service.
