Last Sunday John went to Mike's home. In the morning, he talked with Mike's grandparents. Mike's mother cooked chicken for them. In the afternoon, John and Mike played table tennis. They were very happy.

Sarah： I'm hungry.

Mike： What would you like to eat?

Sarah： I'd like some rice and chicken. What about you?

Mike： I don't like chicken . I'd like some beef, salad and a sandwich. Would you like some drinks?

Sarah： Yes, orange juice, please.

Mike： Oh, it's too sour . I'd like some water.

—In New York? What are you doing there?

—I'm on vacation (度假).

—What's the weather like in New York?

—It's cold and rainy.

—Are you having a good time?

—No, I'm having a terrible time. The weather is terrible here.

—I'm sorry to hear that.

    My brother and I look very different. I have brown eyes and he has blue eyes. We both have brown hair, but I'm tall and thin. He's short and heavy. I don't like my brother, but we have the same hobby l I like playing tennis. My brother likes it, too. We both like desserts very much. We are good friends.

    I'm an American student. My name is Peter. I'm twelve. I have one brother. He's Steven. We are in the same grade, but in different classes. We go to school five days a week. On Sundays, we go to the park, there we catch insect. On Saturdays, we watch TV at home. My parents are teachers.

    They teach Chinese. I can speak Chinese. But Steven can speak only a little. I like to read books.

    Now I am reading a book about China. I like China very much. I hope to visit China some day(将来某一天).
