In America, science is a very important class. In middle school we were {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  how to solve problems by thinking like a {#blank#}2{#/blank#} . We had to think of a question, guess an answer, and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  a way to test our guess. There were lots of experiments and other activities. I remember studying how science can explain things like light and electricity.
Our English class is very different from {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  in China, more like Chinese class I think! We read lots of books and talked about them, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  we could understand what we read better. We learned how to know what information is important when we read and what {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  so important. In my class we all gave six {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  to the class during the year. We had to talk in front of the class for six {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ten minutes!
We also have health classes. In this class, we learned about our bodies and how to take care of {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  by doing things like eating healthy foods, and not doing {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  things like smoking or drugs (毒品). We cooked a little bit, but I was not very good at it!

   Today young people like{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to pop songs and pop music. There are many pop{#blank#}2{#/blank#} and singing groups ,like Back Street Boys, Secret Garden, West Life{#blank#}3{#/blank#} so on .They are foreign (外国的）singers. There are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} many famous singing groups and pop singers in {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.People like them very much. Many young people want to be pop {#blank#}6{#/blank#} .They think it will be a very good life. In fact,(实际上）most pop stars live a{#blank#}7{#/blank#} life. They spend (花费）most of their{#blank#}8{#/blank#}  on tour, and they travel{#blank#}9{#/blank#} one city to another and sing for people.     Sometimes we are used to drawing a quick conclusion(结论), But is it right or not? My little son gave me a {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    One day, I took my five-year-old son to go out for a walk after dinner. On the way, we saw an old woman selling fruits. I didn't take enough money with me. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} my son liked eating fruit very much, I could buy only two pears and gave them to him.

    The little boy held the pears in his hands. I asked him if he could share one {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me. On hearing this, he quickly took a bite(咬) from one pear, and the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.
