Do you often help the people who are in need?

One day, two boys were walking along the road to school when they saw an old woman carrying a large basket of pears. The old woman looked very tired. They went up and said, “Are you going to town? If you are, we'll help you carry your basket.”

“Thank you,” said the woman. “That's very kind of you.” Then she told them that she was going to the market to sell the pears. So the boys decided to lift the basket together. They walked slowly with the heavy basket, but they were happy.

 The other day, I saw a little girl pick up a piece of banana peel(水果皮). She threw it into the dustbin(垃圾箱). “I  hope nobody would throw that on the street,”she said. “Someone may slip (滑倒) and fall.”

Perhaps some people may say that these are not great things. That's right. But almost all great things are made up of such small things. We shouldn't wait for the time to do great things. We should begin with these things that are full of love.

    At the age of 15, most girls are just learning about fashion(时尚). But Madison Robinson is making (A)________(越来越多的) money because of the design(设计) for flip-flops(人字拖鞋) for kids. The shoes sell for about $25 a pair, and they have made at least $1.2 million.

    Madison, from Texas, the USA, (B) came up with the idea at the age of eight. With the help of her father Dan, she could turn her drawings into real shoes.

    Her business(生意) helped her a lot, such as public speaking(演说). And now Madison has a lot of money to pay for her college(大学).

    Liu Wei is very famous in China because he can play the piano with his toes(脚趾).

    One day when Liu Wei was only 10 years old, he played a game with some friends. He lost both his arms because of electricity (电). Liu Wei was very sad when both his arms were cut off after the accident. But soon he had to make a choice. “For people like me, there were only two choices. One was to give up all the dreams which would cause a quick death. The other was to work hard without arms to live an excellent life.” says Liu Wei.

    Liu's dream was to be a pianist. His excellent life included a show on China's Got Talent(中国达人秀) and a wonderful performance playing the beautiful Marriage D'amour with his two feet on the piano. Liu Wei learned to play the piano with his feet. And teaching himself to play the piano with his feet was very hard. Many times he wanted to give it up, but his parents went on encouraging him and he wanted to make his parents proud.

    Maybe you can not believe that Liu Wei is able to play well only with his toes. The audience(观众) were deeply moved and very excited when they watched his performance.

    Can you believe I'm in a school of 2030 now? The school is like a beautiful garden. The wall of our classroom is colorful. Our school life is interesting.

    In the morning, we have three classes. We study on the Internet. We use the e-books. The teachers are all robots. They are in different rooms and they can answer any questions. Our robot music teacher plays the guitar very well. In the afternoon, we take a plane to the Mars to have two classes. I make friends with aliens(外星人). They are friendly and know us well. After class, we play soccer with them. Then we go back to the earth. Don't you think the life in this school is very interesting?

    It is important to have good learning habits if you want to study, and this is especially true when it comes to online learning.

    Online learning is a process different from what you will find in a traditional school. The learning environment and methods are different.

When studying in a classroom, there is a lot of communication between the students and the teacher, but little interaction(互动)among the students, while online learning helps one student and another to interact very seriously and closely. So one of an online professor's roles is to encourage students to interact. Another is to guide discussion, it isn't the same as teachers do in a classroom.

    So how can you develop good learning habits in online learning? Here are some good suggestions. First, it is a good idea to prepare well for online learning. You can write down daily tasks and even weekly tasks that you want to complete. By doing so, you will have a good plan for achieving your goals. Second, you should spend as much time online as if you were going to regular courses. Also, always try to leave extra time to communicate with other students.

    Besides this, any post(帖子） you put up online shows who you are. So hand in your homework on time so that you don't fall behind.
