In 1715 ,at fleet(舰队) of Spanish ships left Havana, Cuba for Spain. On their way home, they ran into bad weather. Eleven ships--along with{#blank#}1{#/blank#}of treasure they were carrying--were lost. About 1,000 people{#blank#}2{#/blank#}.
For nearly 250 years, the sea kept most of the treasure to itself. Then, in the 1950s, a man found coins and some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} treasure on a Florida beach. $500,000 {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. The following month, a team of treasure hunters found 350 gold coins, together worth $4.5 million. So far, about $400 million worth of treasure is said to have already been found.
So who can {#blank#}7{#/blank#} treasure found at sea? Each case(情况) is different, but in the case of the 1715 fleet, 20 percent goes to the state of Florida for its museums. Other treasure is 2{#blank#}8{#/blank#} between Queens
