David is a student in a university. He didn't use to go sightseeing. However, last week he went on holiday in Yunnan. His cousin Cindy lived in Kunming. Both of them {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (have) a good time.

    First, he went to Kunming by plane. When he arrived there, Cindy took him to many places{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (visit). David liked the weather there. It was not cold {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hot. It was {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (real) fine. He also liked all kinds of flowers there. After two weeks, David and Cindy went to Dali by train. They visited the old famous city Dali and some other {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (place) of interest there. David learnt {#blank#}6{#/blank#} many local customs as well.

    One week later, David and Cindy took the bus to Lijiang— {#blank#}7{#/blank#} beautiful town. They visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It was really wonderful. They also visited the old town of Lijiang. There were many {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (interest) stores and restaurants there. They ate much fine food there.

    David spent almost all his pocket money {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (buy) presents for his classmates. David had to come back to the university, so they only stayed in Lijiang for one week.

    David really enjoyed {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (be) there. He hopes to visit it this winter holiday again.

    How {#blank#}1{#/blank#} your day off? Did you have fun camping? I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (have) a very fun day. I visited my cousins. It {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (rain)all day. In the morning, I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (stay) in the house and watched DVDs, played computer games and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (read). In the afternoon, Uncle Martin put some of {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (he) old things out in the yard and had a yard sale! However,  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} came to the sale {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the weather was so bad. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (luck), we brought our umbrellas and raincoats, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} we didn't get wet.
