Millions of people across the world have pets. Maybe you have one and maybe some of your friends do too. A pet can be {#blank#}1{#/blank#} special friend, and you may think of him or her as a member of the family. A pet can play with you or just be with you when you don't feel like {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (talk).

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (unlucky), pets can't stay with {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (we) forever. Like all living things, they will die. Sometimes a pet dies because he or she is too old. Sometimes a pet dies {#blank#}5{#/blank#} an accident. Sometimes a pet gets too sick {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (live) longer. Even when an animal doctor helps, there are some problems mat just can't {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (solve).

    It's a sad thing to know a pet dies. You probably feel lonely {#blank#}8{#/blank#} it seems like you lose a friend. You may even feel mad at the vet (兽医) for not being able to make your pet {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (well) than it was. Maybe you feel sorry when you remember the fact that sometimes you weren't kind to your pet.

    To some children, it may seem like nobody {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (understand) what they are feeling. Someone may say to a girl, "You can get another cat." But she knows she will never have a cat just like the dead one.

    As Grade 9 students, there are many challenges. The P. E. Test is sure one of {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(they). In fact, for me, it is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (big) one.

    I know it is very strange that a healthy boy like me doesn't like P. E. But unluckily, it's the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(true). I'm not good {#blank#}4{#/blank#} sports at all! I{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (get) bad grades in P. E. since the first day I went to school.

    There was a time I really hated myself. "Why don't you just try a little bit harder? " Every time I asked myself while I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (run) or throwing a ball, there was one answer—"I just can't! "

    Now I know the P. E. Test provides me with a chance {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(exercise). Sometimes I feel so tired {#blank#}8{#/blank#} I want to give up. But if I do, I will never change. It keeps me going. The P. E. Test is just like{#blank#}9{#/blank#}enemy(敌人) and I must beat it.{#blank#}10{#/blank#}I don't know whether I will succeed or not, I'll always try my best.
