Yesterday wasn't a good day. The weather wasn't very nice. It was cold and rainy. The bus wasn't on time. It was late. My boss（老板）wasn't very happy because I was late（迟）for work. He was a-little angry.

    At 1 o'clock I went to a cafe for lunch, but the food wasn't hot and the coffee was cold. I wasn't very happy. Then I went back to work, but my papers（文件）weren't on my desk. They were missing. I looked for them everywhere, but I couldn't find them. Later someone gave them back to me. I went home from work at 5 o'clock and it started to rain again. I got very wet.

    I was driving after school on Monday from Dublin to Drogheda and on my way home, I saw a wallet lying on the roadside. I thought the wallet must belong to the driver in front of me, because he had smoked there. I shouted to him twice but he didn't hear. So I stopped and picked up the wallet. I checked the wallet to see if I could get any phone number to call. I found and called two numbers but I was told they were wrong numbers.

    Later, I found a driving license and decided to drive to his house in Termonfeckin according to the address on the license. It is a 30-minute drive away from Drogheda. When I got to his house, I saw his wife and the first thing she asked was if I had found a wallet. I started smiling and said yes. The lady was really happy and called her husband. He ran to us at the gate and welcomed me to their house. After giving the wallet to him, he checked to see whether everything was inside. They offered me 20 dollars for gasoline(汽油) but I refused.

    Mike is a factory worker. He is often very tired after a day's work. His wife(妻子), Jenny, has no job, so she stays at home to cook the meals. Every day he can have his dinner when he gets home from his factory.

    One day, Mike came home very late because he was very busy in the factory. He was very hungry when he got home.

    He was not happy when he found his dinner was not ready. He was very angry with his wife. He shouted out, "I'm going out to eat in a restaurant." "Wait for five minutes," said his wife. "Why? Do you think that dinner will be ready in five minutes?" asked Mike.

     "Of course not," she answered. "But I can be ready to go with you in five minutes."

How to improve myself

Everyone wants to get better and better, and so do I. In order to improve myself, I'll do as follows.

Westwood National Park is a very huge national park. It is well-known {#blank#}1{#/blank#} its fascinating scenes and many kinds of animals, especially bears. It is one of my favorite {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (place) to take photos.

I will never forget that afternoon. Birds flew over the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (peace) lake. The mountains {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (cover) with white snow. With the camera held to my eye, I was recording the amazing picture. All of a sudden, I found two baby bears far away running after each other {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (happy). Sometimes they stopped to look around; sometimes one rubbed (蹭) against the other's back. They had a lot of fun playing in {#blank#}6{#/blank#} sun. At that moment, I completely lost myself in the sweet environment. How I wished that time could stand still! I really hoped {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (catch) the warm scene with my camera and I did it. After a while, I {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (hear) a loud roar (吼叫) from the mother bear. The two baby bears stood up quickly {#blank#}9{#/blank#} ran back to the forest. I was so lucky that I could take such a picture.

In a small village there was a postman. When he was 20 years old，he started sending all kinds of happy or sad {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to the villagers' homes 50 kilometers away day after day. Twenty years. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}by，and so many changes took place，but there were still no flowers or trees along the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}，only flying dust. 

"How long shall I go along this dusty road？" As soon as he thought he had to spend his life {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the bike on the road with no flowers or trees，he felt very sad. 

One day when he finished sending the letters and was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to return，he passed by a flower shop. "Right，that's it！" He walked into the shop，bought some 

{#blank#}6{#/blank#} flower seeds，and the next day he began to drop these seeds along the road. After one day，two days，one month，two months…He {#blank#}7{#/blank#} kept dropping the wild flower seeds. 

Before long，a lot of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} flowers came out along the road，blooming（开花）in all seasons. 

 For the villagers，the flowers and the sweet smell were {#blank#}9{#/blank#} pleasant than any letters the postman sent in all his life. 

On the road without dust but full of flowers，the postman rode his {#blank#}10{#/blank#} happily. He never felt lonely or anxious any more.
