How to become a radio DJ

  Do you have a great voice? Have you ever thought l about becoming a radio DJ? Working as a DJ can be exciting but it also needs experience．If you want to be a DJ，the following are usual ways to start .

     1. Intern(实习)．It's a dirty job．Unluckily，most radio station workers start as an intern．This means working long hours without pay．It will help you do better at the radio station．   

    2. Events．Because you can't get a DJ job with no experience，you might want to work as a DJ for events. Weddings，parties and special situations all need DJs to  provide the music and some laughs．This is a great way to learn to work with people and play music．

    3.Fill in(替补)．If you work at a radio station，you can ask to be put on the ‘‘ fill in ” list for DJs．So if the main DJ gets sick，you can fill in for him or her to get some experience．

    4.Late，late night．Usually the first job for a DJ is the late shift(晚班)．In other words you may be on air not only from l a．m．to 5 a．m．，but you will get more experience·

    The Monkey Buffet Festival is on the last Sunday of November. It is a great day for monkeys in Thailand(泰国). The festival has a history of twenty-five years. People there think monkeys can bring good luck to them. So, to thank monkeys, they have this special festival.

    On that day every year, people put lots of fruit, vegetables, cakes and even drinks on the tables outside. They are all for monkeys. Many people come to see the monkeys on that day.

    During the festival, there are a lot of interesting activities about monkeys. Young people always dress like monkeys. And they sing and dance and play some music on the street.

    Monkeys always live in groups. Most of them live in the trees. They are good at running and jumping. They eat fruit, vegetables, flowers and birds' eggs. Monkeys are clever. Do you think so?

    More and more people like bicycling and it is no surprise. It is fun, healthy and good for the environment. Maybe that's why there are 1.4 billion bicycles and only 400 million cars on roads worldwide today. Bikes can take you almost anywhere, and there is no oil cost!

    Get on a bicycle and ride around your neighbourhood. You may discover something new all around you. Stopping and getting off a bike is easier than stopping and getting out of your car. You can bike to work and benefit(受益）from the enjoyable exercise without polluting the environment. You don't even have to ride all the way.

    Folding(折叠）bikes work well for people who ride the train. Just fold the bike and take it with you. You can do the same on an airplane. A folding bike can be packed in a suitcase. You can take a common bike with you when you fly, too. But be sure to look for information by getting on airline websites. Not all airlines are bicycle-friendly to travelers.

    The headmaster at my school decided to play an April Fools' joke on the students when I was in high school. On March 31, she announced that our school would hold a "Dress to Impress" day.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Girls were told to wear formal dresses and smart jackets, while a suit jacket and tie for each boy would be best. The teachers, we were told, would do the same.

    On April Fool's Day, many of us students came to school dressed in our best clothes. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}In the morning, all of us got together on the playground, waiting for the headmaster. She would speak to the students. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}Instead, she wore jeans, running shoes and a T-shirt. The teachers also got dressed casually like her.

    "April Fools!" she said, with a big smile on her face. "We just wanted to remind you that teachers have a sense of humor, too!"
