Neil Armstrong is the first man to walk on the moon. He took his {#blank#}1{#/blank#} flight at six and received his pilot's license at 16. In 1949, Neil {#blank#}2{#/blank#}the navy(海军) and served as a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. He was chosen to be {#blank#}4{#/blank#} astronaut in 1962. Four years later, he {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to join two spacecrafts together in space.

    Then the big day came. On 20th July 1969, he landed Apollo on the Moon together {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Aldrin. Neil said the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} words "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" on the Moon. They became heroes {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they returned with many Moon {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Neil was presented the Medal of Freedom, the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} award that a US citizen can receive because of his excellent service.

    Once, there was a little girl named Meredith. Meredith enjoyed spending {#blank#}1{#/blank#} free time with her friends, but there was something different about Meredith. She was always interested in things {#blank#}2{#/blank#} chemistry and history. Meredith never wanted to {#blank#}3{#/blank#} about these interests because she was afraid she would be judged (评头论足) . She always learned more about these topics when she was by herself, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} no one could find out about this. One day, a new girl, Josie, joined her sixth-grade class, and the new girl was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to say three things about herself. Josie stood up and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to talk about her interests. First, she said she was {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in reading and writing stories. Second, she said she liked history. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} she said she enjoyed chemistry. Meredith's eyes lit up with joy. Finally, she had found someone who had common interests as her. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} that day, Meredith found Josie on the playground and ran over to talk to her. Your{#blank#}7{#/blank#}present is in it.” I go to my bedroom and{#blank#}8{#/blank#}the box on the table. Then I open it. I am very happy to find a radio in it！
