As the train was moving across a wilderness(荒野), the passengers looked out of the windows quietly. When the train reached a bend(转弯处),it1    and a simple house appeared. "See these erasers, Tom," she continued. "Do you know why they become {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(small) day by day than they used to be? That's{#blank#}9{#/blank#} we make mistakes. But we can erase(擦掉) them by erasers and try again. " Tom looked at Mary and smiled. Since then, he{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (know) that everyone may make mistakes. He should learn from them and try again.
