Every year more people realize(意识到) that it is w{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to kill wild animals for “sport”. The number of hunters, however, g{#blank#}2{#/blank#} quickly. Wild animals are disappearing because of shooting(狩猎) and because of the l{#blank#}3{#/blank#}of living areas. The losing of living areas will go on with our growing population(人口), but can we s{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the losing of wild animals caused(引起) by shooting? This is not p{#blank#}5{#/blank#}if the serious condition of our living is not improved(改善).

Wild animals b{#blank#}6{#/blank#} to everyone and not to the hunters a{#blank#}7{#/blank#}. Although most people do not shoot, they seem to forgive(宽恕) shooting for “sport” because they know l{#blank#}8{#/blank#} or nothing about it. It is time to realize that animals have the same right to l{#blank#}9{#/blank#} as we do. We should make f{#blank#}10{#/blank#} with wild animals.

    Johnson is an eight-year-old boy. He is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} good boy. He does well in all his {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (lesson). He loves school, and he is always active (活跃的) in class.     Some people prefer to make friends with people who are very much like them while others prefer friends who are very different. There are advantages of both types of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (friend). If a man {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (choose) a friend similar to himself, there is no problem that they will share many common interests. They may have similar goals in life. This means that they will be able {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (help) each other in achieving their goals. Two people who are very similar will feel {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (comfort) with each other and may understand each other's feelings better. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (they) friendship may be deeper and last longer.

    There are also many advantages of {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (make) friends with someone of opposite interests and even character. In this type of friendship, the two people complement(补充) each other. If one is weak in some ways, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} other is strong. Two people {#blank#}8{#/blank#} similar goals may find themselves in competition, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} those who want different things can always support each other. Those who have different interests can {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (introduction) each other to new experience and so enrich(丰富) their knowledge.

    A friend who is unlike me may be challenging, but a similar friend is familiar and safe.

    There was hardly a month left for my wedding. Grandma became very{#blank#}7{#/blank#} because she was afraid if she would see the wedding. All of us said that she could be the{#blank#}8{#/blank#} person to bless(祝福)me at the wedding.

    Sadly, several days{#blank#}9{#/blank#}the wedding, Grandma died. At my wedding, we had to put a(n){#blank#}10{#/blank#}in front of me and my husband. With tears in my eyes, I said nothing. I knew I would have my dear Grandma's blessing forever!
