Cartoon faces are one of my favourite things to draw. Any face is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(make) up of a head, a nose, a mouth, eyes, ears and hair. It's easier to draw the face once you have {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(know) these different parts. Hold your pencil lightly {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the page and start with a circle. The head doesn't always have to be a circle, but I find that it's usually_{#blank#}4{#/blank#}best and easiest starting point. The next part to draw is the nose. It is in the centre of the head and is a good point of reference(参考) for {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (draw) all of the other parts. There {#blank#}6{#/blank#} many different kinds of noses. You should try to know {#blank#}7{#/blank#}the noses of different cartoon characters look like. After drawing the nose, you should draw the eyes and then the mouth. The next step for the cartoon face should be drawing the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(ear). Drawing them before the hair {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(give) you a reference point. Then you can draw the hair more {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (easy). The last step is always drawing the hair. Remember that you are drawing cartoons and cartoons do not need to look real.

    A big company wanted to find someone to work for them. Lots of young college students came to ask {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the job, but only a small part of them were left. And this time, the company didn't plan to choose the right persons as usual.

    Here came the day when they took the final interview. A big box {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of papers was placed on the way to the interview room, and a few papers were lying around the box.

    The {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (one)student came. He hurried along the way to take the interview. "Who put this box in the middle of the road?" the student said to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (he), but he did not try to move the box away. Instead, he passed around the box and continued his way.

    The second student came along and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (do)the same thing. Then another came, and another. All of them complained(抱怨)about the box but6. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}of them tried to move it. What's worse, someone even stepped(踩)on the papers and left without {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (have)a look at the things on the ground.

    Half {#blank#}8{#/blank#} hour later, a thin young man with glasses came. He was also among those who were left to take the interview. He saw the box and the papers around it. Without thinking twice, he {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (stop)and began to pick up the papers and put them into the box. Then he managed to move the box to the side. To his great surprise, he found an {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (invite)under the box. On it were the following words, "Congratulations, young man! You are the right person we are looking for！Would you like to join us?"

    Sometimes, you see, helping others is helping yourself.
