The sun was going down when we arrived at the ground floor of the building. I was afraid of going to the top of tall buildings, so I was a little   {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   when I walked into a lift. The lift climbed faster and faster  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  we reached the 88th floor. It  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}   high up there, but I was not afraid when I stood at the top.

  The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is 420.5   {#blank#}4{#/blank#}   high. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    in 1999, and it has a fantastic view of Pudong District and the centre of Shanghai. I really like t he tower and I am sure I will visit it again.

    This is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} room. Her computer is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the desk. And the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} is very nice. Some pictures are on the desk, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Some model planes {#blank#}5{#/blank#} on the chairs. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} ball is under the chair. Her {#blank#}7{#/blank#} are in the desk. But {#blank#}8{#/blank#} is her schoolbag? Oh, it's on the sofa. What's on her bed? It's {#blank#}9{#/blank#} English book. It's a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} room.

    In November 1979, pupils in England were able to watch a new TV program called Monkey. Most of them were hearing this story for the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} time. However, this story is not new to Chinese children. The Monkey King or Sun Wukong is the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} character in the traditional Chinese book Journey to the West.

    The Monkey King is not just any normal monkey. In fact, he {#blank#}3{#/blank#} does not even look like a monkey! This is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} he can make 72 changes to his shape and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, turning himself into different animals and objects. But {#blank#}6{#/blank#} he can hide his tail, he cannot turn himself into a man. To fight bad people, the Monkey King uses a magic {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. Sometimes he can make the stick so {#blank#}8{#/blank#} that he can keep it in his ear. At other times, he is able to make it big and long.

    The Monkey King has excited the children of China for many years. And as soon as the TV program came out more than 30 years ago, Western children became {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in reading this story because the clever Monkey King {#blank#}10{#/blank#} fighting to help the weak and never gives up.

    We all need exercise. Exercise uses up food that we eat and keeps the body full {#blank#}1{#/blank#} energy(能量). Exercise makes your heart and muscles(肌肉) strong. Exercise {#blank#}2{#/blank#} makes you feel relaxed. If you exercise several times a week, you will stay happy and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. There are many {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to exercise. You can walk, run or swim.

    However, most people cannot do this. It is too far from their homes to their offices. They have no choice {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to drive to work. First, these people don't have a chance to exercise because they are sitting in their cars for two to four hours each day. Second,  driving is challenging(具有挑战性的), {#blank#}6{#/blank#}in rush hours, and needs too much attention.  It makes a person tired out. When these people arrive home after work, they don't want to take exercise.

    Some western countries, such as the United States, have problems with {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. Many people don't have enough exercise. They have to work from morning till night, so they don't have time {#blank#}8{#/blank#} exercise.

    Today, many people in the West are fat, which causes health problems. Doctors say exercise can help people both lose {#blank#}9{#/blank#} and improve their health. So many people are trying to get more exercise. But it takes time to change, and when people don't see a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} right away, they will lose heart and stop exercising.
