Tomorrow is the Dragon Boat Festival. In the morning, I will visit my grandparents with my father and mother. My grandma will make zongzi for us. I like sweet zongzi with Chinese dates (枣). My parents like salty (咸的) zongzi with meat. My grandpa will cook a big lunch for us. In the afternoon, I will watch the dragon boat races with my friends. What a nice day!

    Paper cutting(剪纸)is a traditional Chinese art．Many people in China stick(粘贴)paper cuttings on their walls or their windows．The paper—cutter uses very simple tools， such as knives and scissors，to cut parts of the paper away．After these parts are cut away，a lovely picture of people or animals appears(显现)．Some paper cuttings are of Chinese characters．Others are of animals or plants．People think paper cuttings will bring them good luck．It is very difficult(困难的)to learn paper cutting．It requires(需要)years of practice to become good at this art．

    It is a Tuesday morning. Ann and her mother are on a big bus. There are many people on it. Some of them come from the U.S. , and some come from England or Canada. They are all friends. They are going to the Forbidden City!

    There are two Chinese on the bus. One is a young man. He is driving the bus. The other is a woman. She speaks English well. She is now talking about the Forbidden City. The other people are listening to her. They like the Forbidden City. They want to see it very much.

    We buy our daughter a little dog. There are not many children of her age and we think a dog would make her happy. We are right. They play together happily. Our daughter smiles and laughs a lot more. Both of them are very dirty. But the dog is easier to look after than my daughter. He always eats up all his food and needn't wash his cloths. My wife is also very happy because I don't smoke any more. The dog doesn't like the smell.
