Ben and Jim are twin brothers. They are nine. They are pupils. They study in Yuxin Primary School. They are in the same class. Everyday they go to school and come back together.

    Their teacher, Mrs. Green, says to the pupils. Please write a composition (作文) 'My Mother'.

    Jim is a good boy. He writes the composition at home. But Ben plays football with his friends. The next day Mrs Green says to the class, “I read your compositions today. But two of yours are just the same.” Ben stands up and says, “Jim and I are twins. We have the same mother.”

    Suddenly the telephone rang(响). Mrs Baker went to answer it. Then she said to her husband proudly (自豪地), "Luckily (幸运的是), you have listened to me! The man downstairs complained(抱怨) on the telephone that they couldn't fall asleep!"

    A woman finds a seat on the train, but there's a bag on it. So she asks the man beside the seat, “Is it occupied?”

     "Yes, she will soon be back." the man answers.

    The woman is very tired. She sits down and says, "I will sit a while till she comes back."

    Ten minutes later the train starts.

    "Oh, the poor fellow. She loses the train, but she can't lose her bag." After these words, the woman throws the bag out of the window.

     "It's mine." the man shouts out. But it's too late.

    Tom is my classmate. He is from London in England. But he likes China very much. Now he is in Beijing. He is a little fat. He has a round face and big blue eyes. His hair is not black but yellow. His nose, mouth and ears are ball big. He likes blue. He likes wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans. Look at his hand. He has a football in it. We often play football after class.
