    Linda is good at Maths, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} she wants to be a Maths teacher. She likes Maths so much that she {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (study) hard on Maths every day, even at weekends. For example, Linda {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (do) Maths exercises while her two brothers were watching TV from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock yesterday evening. She also likes kids very much. So it's the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (good) thing for her to be a teacher.

    Maria is good-looking, and her favourite actor is Jackie Chan. She wants to work with {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (he) as an actress. She takes acting classes {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (two) a week. She also joins the Acting Club at school.

    Do you know a 24-year-old bus driver, Wang Ping? He is my uncle, and he is my idol （偶像）. He has a lot of hobbies. He likes sports very much. We often play basketball and football together.     Thanks  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  my uncle and the passengers, the old man was saved by the doctors in time. How happy my uncle was! My uncle is such a man who often doesn't think about himself. He only thinks about others.

    The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was written {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Mark Twain. He was born in the US in 1835. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (lucky), his father died when he was 12 years old. So he had to work hard to make a living. He took many kinds of jobs and the hard life {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (teach) him a lot. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} he didn't attend university, he had rich experiences and heard many stories , which all became the materials for a series of his works.
