     Most people have goals(目标). A goal is something we want to do, or want to have or someone we want to be. A student's goal, for example, might be to  the tests, go to university, and then get a good job. A player's goal could be to win an important match. A businessman's goal is usually to make a lot of money.

     Not all goals are about success at work, however. Some people just want to be good people, have a family, or help .

     Carl's goal is to be a fireman. He wants to  people from fires as many as possible. He likes most sports. Swimming as well as playing football is his favourite.

     Tracy's goal is to be a pianist. She is very serious about it and practises every day with her best friend Lily. It is very important to her.
