One day, the BFG meets a 10-year old girl Sophie in London, Sophie has no parents, so he takes her back to his home. Sophie is at first. But when she gets to know the BFG, they become best friends. They have fun in the giants' world.
But other giants soon Sophie and they want to eat children in London. Sophie and the BFG try to tell the Queen of England about this . In the end, the Queen, Sophie and the BFG make a plan to the children from the bad giants.
