Helping each other

    Look! Kate is flying a bird kite. Oh, her kite is in the tree. And it is broken. She can't climb up the tree. Li Lei and Jim are coming here. Li Lei is helping her. He is getting the kite from the tree. But he can't get down. Jim is helping Li Lei. Li Lei is jumping to the wall. They are getting down from the wall. Kate, Jim and Li Lei are mending(修理) the kite under the tree. They are good friends.

    Mr. Smith is from France. He is in Guangzhou now. He lives in a small house near a big farm. In the morning, he can see many ladies milking the cows. There are many fields on the farm. Some people work in the field in the morning. And other people work in the garden. Mr. Smith sometimes helps the farmers with gardening in the afternoon. In the evening, Mr. Smith always has some fun with the farmers. He likes the life. He thinks it is a healthy life.

    Jack is from San Francisco. He lives in China with his parents now. He likes China and Chinese food. From Monday to Friday he goes to school. He has no time to go home for lunch, so he has it at school. The lunch at school is very good. On the weekend, he can eat rice, noodles and meat at home with his parents. But sometimes they go out to have dinner with their friends. They eat fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and many other delicious things. Dumplings are Jack's favourite food. He thinks they are very nice.

    I'm Amy. My uncle has a farm. It is big. There are ten cats, six hens and seven cows on the farm. There are some vegetables, too. They are tomatoes, potatoes, onions and carrots. My uncle likes tomatoes very much. So he grows (种植) many tomatoes on the farm. I like tomatoes, too. We have tomatoes for lunch today. They are yummy!
