    Keeping a diary in English is the effective way to improve our English writing ability．

    First, it takes little time to finish a diary than other writings．By keeping English diaries, we can easy form the habit of thinking about in English．

    Second, we can practice use English idioms and useful structures in our diary-writing．If we have difficulty finding suitable words or phrases to express our opinion, we can turn in English dictionaries or teacher for help．This is also a kind of learning．If we can keep on doing this, we would gradually learn how express ourselves in English freely．

    In a word, it was of great benefit to keep diaries in English．

    One day, it was so hot that my parents and I went to Changli Park to enjoy the shade. On the way, I found I have forgotten to bring my cell phone with me, but I returned for it. Reach my home, I noticed one of the window wide open. “My parents aren't at home. Who can it be?” I wondered. I walked to window, looked through it and in my surprise, found two strangers were trying to open a case. I was so frightened at the sight which I couldn't say a word. I left there silent without being noticed. Then I phoned the police for help. Five minutes late, three policemen appeared and caught up the two thieves.

    Writing was my favorite class at school. My teacher, Bebe Usi, was devoting and encouraging. We each spent several classes make a paper mask and wore it when reading our own work before the class. I have forgotten that composition now, but I remember the feeling of mask on my face and my heart was beating wild as I shared my composition. I was afraid of but proud. I have written many compositions before that but none of which had been chosen to be read before the class. They perhaps weren't the best composition and the most beautiful mask in my class. But they both were my.
