These days our government is aiming to build an "economized(节省) society".{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(作为) students, you can do something that you can.

 First, save things. You'd better walk to school or {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a bike instead of taking a car. Turn off the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}as soon as you leave the classroom. Remember to turn off the tap right after washing your hands. When you go out to eat in a {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (餐馆), ask for smaller dishes and take leftovers（剩菜）h{#blank#}5{#/blank#}_.Before you buy something new, think {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  it is necessary or not.

 Second, use things for as long as p{#blank#}7{#/blank#} .When you buy things, make sure that they can {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a long time. Don't use a paper cup or a paper bag. It's better to use a china cup because you can use it again.

  Finally, collect what can be{#blank#}9{#/blank#} （回收利用) in your classroom, such as waste paper and soft drink cans. It can save money and protect the environment.

  In general, I think one thing we should keep in mind is that {#blank#}10{#/blank#} matter what a small effort we make, it will make a difference.

    One day a dentist (牙医) was starting his morning work. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (sudden) a man ran in. His face was red, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} he could only say “Quick!     “It's all right now”, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} dentist told him, “It is over.”

    “You don't understand.” said the man. “I came to tell you that {#blank#}10{#/blank#} house is on fire."

    A magician (魔术师) was working on a ship. The audience (观众) would be {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (difference) every week, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the magician did the same tricks over and over again. There was only one problem: {#blank#}3{#/blank#} parrot saw the shows each week and began to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (understand) how the magician did every trick. Once he understood, he started shouting, "Look, it's not the same hat", "Look, he is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (put) the flowers under the table." The magician was {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (anger) but couldn't do anything. It was, after all, the captain's parrot. One day the ship had {#blank#}7{#/blank#} accident and sank. The magician found {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (he) on a piece of wood in the ocean {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the parrot. They stared at each other with hate, but did not say a word. This went on for some {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (day). After a week the parrot said, "OK, I give up. Where's the boat?"

     Emily, an eight-year-old girl, is not very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} because she has so many rules to obey every day.  

     At school, she can't arrive {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. She has to get up early in the morning. She {#blank#}3{#/blank#} run or laugh in the hallways and she can't eat or listen to music in class. She agrees {#blank#}4{#/blank#} these rules because they're reasonable. But there are some rules she can't {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. For example, she has to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} her school uniform from Monday to Friday. She can't wear a cap or a hat in the classroom. She can't talk {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in the classroom. She has to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the blackboard and the classroom once a week.

     She also has to keep some rules at home. For example, she can't hang out {#blank#}9{#/blank#} watch TV after school. She has to finish her homework first. She can't meet friends on school nights. And she has to be in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} by nine o'clock. {#blank#}11{#/blank#} Weekends, she has to clean her room and {#blank#}12{#/blank#} her clothes. And she has to {#blank#}13{#/blank#} her mum do housework. Later she has to go to the Children's Palace to {#blank#}14{#/blank#}dancing. She never has any {#blank#}15{#/blank#}. What an unhappy girl!

    Every day Miss Wang was busy and bored with her new job in a company. But the young girl was lucky to get a housework robot from her parents.

    Miss Wang's life became much e{#blank#}1{#/blank#} than before with the help of the robot. When she got up in the morning, breakfast was m{#blank#}2{#/blank#} already. The robot also ironed（熨烫）Miss Wang's dresses to make them smooth, and prepared a lunch box f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} her every day. As a r{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, Miss Wang no l{#blank#}5{#/blank#} needed to get up early to do the housework and she could s{#blank#}6{#/blank#} in bed for an extra hour.

  While Miss Wang was at work, the robot would clean her flat. It would do the laundry, wash the dishes, sweep the f{#blank#}7{#/blank#} and make the bed. The robot also went shopping at the supermarket.

  When Miss Wang returned home from work, her flat would be as clean as a new one. A delicious d{#blank#}8{#/blank#} would be ready for her on the table. After that, Miss Wang could r{#blank#}9{#/blank#} for an hour or two watching her favorite TV programmes, leaving the robot to wash the dishes. Miss Wang was very h{#blank#}10{#/blank#} with her robot.

    People all over the world enjoy sports. Sports help people keep healthy and happy. Sports {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(改变) with seasons. People play different sports in summer and winter. Swimming is p{#blank#}2{#/blank#} in all countries near the sea or in those with many rivers(河), because it's a cool activity for h{#blank#}3{#/blank#} weather. During the snowing winter, skating on the i{#blank#}4{#/blank#} is a better choice(选择).

    Some sports or games go back thousands of years, like running and jumping. But basketball is quite new. People are {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(发明) new sports or games all the time.
